The superb flexibility of the PLSS55+PINS bed base slat holder offers ease of assembly and great comfort during use.  PLSS55+PINS is a European styled traditional side-mounted slat holder for 53mm wide slats.  Extremely flexible rubber-like plastic pockets are mounted into the bed frame by the use of two pins (supplied).  The natural spring of the flexible slat in conjunction with the PLSS55+PINS flexible slat holder offers maximum comfort and support.

Each slat holder is supplied with two pins which usually locate into 10mm holes drilled into a wooden cleat running along the inside of a flexible slat bed side rail.  Slat holders are generally drilled at 64mm centres for the pins and positioned 130mm centres apart.  Wider beds such as Double, Queen, King or Super King require a centre rail to which the middle flexible caps are positioned back to back with a 5-10mm separation between them.  The slat combinations can be 13, 14 or 15 rows each side thereby requiring 52, 56 or 60 slat holders for the wider beds.
